Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in their book Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society identified Stokke in the context of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo, female athletes who they said were sexualized and their pictures presented in a manner that they were unable to emphasize their sports achievements. Concerning Stokke they also pointed out the fact that online comments often referred to as insulting and blamed the sexualization process to the women. In 1974, she completed her high school graduation and chose to take an alternative route by taking an internship. Alyce is proud to be the sister of an academic professor. Her sister is an instructor at a university and receives support from her family. Alyce resides in Texas along with her parents whom both work for the U.S. Army. The family celebrated their father's 92nd Birthday three years earlier. Alyce took social media to acknowledge her dad's contributions to the U.S. Army and share the beautiful photo of her beautiful daughter. Alyce also motivates her daughter to concentrate on schooling. She has been awarded the National Merit Scholarship at the university, and she will be celebrating her 22nd birthday in 2022.
