Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as one of the top athletes in sports. At the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive world all-around titles (2013-15). Biles was born within Spring Texas, in the Houston metro region. She and her sister Adria were adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her teacher at daycare Aimee Borman when she was just six years old. She was a student at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor and bronze in vault at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010. She then stepped into the elite level of competition in the year 2011. In less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. Biles stood out for her constant, possessing an enthusiastic energy and joyful personality. She also integrated an extreme amount of difficulty to all her activities - vault uneven floor workouts.
