Annie Murphy
Annie Murphy, aka Anne Frances Murphy was born on 19th of December 1986. Her country of origin is Canada and she has been working in the film industry on many different projects. She is mainly known for portraying the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC comedy series Schitt's Valley that started in 2015 and ended in the year 2020. Her performance received high praise from critics and was also awarded with the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was within Ottawa Ontario Canada. She is the child of two educators. Elmwood School Ottawa was where she began performing on the stage. After graduating from Concordia University with a theatre degree, she joined the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's Conservatory. The Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory is where she studied acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties and pursued acting. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television crime thriller film Lethal Obsession. She continued her acting career and also played small extra characters in several films. Certain of them have been viewed as popular like Story of Jen which was made in the year 2008, Lick was released in the year 2010 and another hit A Windigo Tale which was launched in the same year. Additionally, she appeared in Canadian television series like Good God aired on 2012 Rookie Blue aired that same year. It appears that she is adept at taking on various acting roles.
