Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress, is best known for her work in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her acting debut was with the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah is born into the same Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam in Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor working at the Madras High Court. She has one younger sister who resides in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah was born near Chennai and went to National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano around the age of eight. She was a big geek who wanted to become a psychiatrist. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band which she joined at age 10 years old, was her starting point for singing and composing music. She also worked as an actor in the college. Andrea served as head of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began her acting career through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. She was a part of Shiva as part of a advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. She also acted in the Podhigai Channel, a television series. The actress has also appeared roles in India. She was a part of a short role in Kanda Mudhal, the 2005 finale. Gautham Vaisudev Menon was able to have her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then requested her to play in the role of a female character on Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea plays Kalyani in this film, which is a remake of the novel by James Siegel. Her husband is implicated in a relationship with her and she's blackmailed. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu, two actresses who were contacted by producers. The film premiered at the start of 2010. In 2011, she accepted to have a supporting role as Venkat Prabhu was in Mankatha. The film premiered on August 11 the 11th of August, 2011. Annayum Rasoolum from Rajeeev Ravi the romantic comedy she premiered in Malayalam in, was released on August 11, 2013.
